Eco schools

Matrix Housing Partnership invited thousands from pupils in more than 600 schools across the Midlands to compete to design the ‘Eco Home of the Future’.

The winning school, Cawston Grange in Rugby, will get £4,000 towards an eco project, such as solar panels, and see the winning house design used as the basis for the development of an actual Eco Home in the future.

A working model based on the winning design by Cawston Grange pupil Jennifer Brook was showcased at the Chartered Institute of Housing national conference in June 2008.
